Pink Boys and Old Ladies

Normand is a regular little boy, but he likes to wear dresses. He doesn’t want to change sex; he just wants to feel comfortable in the in-between space. One day, Normand’s father decides to take his son to school in a dress. Inspired by a true story, the author Marie Henry, the director Clément Thirion and a fantastic cast create a caustic and hilarious impressionistic family fresco, where everyone is caught up in this delicate scenario. This spry comedy, in which human clumsiness seeps from ill-chosen words, treacherous looks and screaming silences, is poignant, funny, endlessly inventive and absolutely triumphant.
