What Are We Making Together? is a performance-filming project that showcases the creative collaboration between two actresses. On a stage transformed into a film studio, they shoot a mockumentary live, inspired by the myth of Aphrodite, and, through the course of takes and disagreements, reveal the power dynamics at play within their partnership. This project explores shared creation between artists with and without disabilities and demonstrates that we are always creating two things at once: the work itself and the conditions of its production—that is, our working relationship.
