THE BOSS IS THE BOSS EVEN IN BOXERS

Dominique Bela is a Cameroonian journalist.  In Belgium, he’s only a migrant.  In cultural circles, he’s called an artist from a diverse background; sometimes he is called a migrant artist.  With Le chef est chef même en caleçon, Dominique Bela questions freedom of expression and highlights, with humour, the discrepancy between the Europe of Human Rights and how it treats migrants. The show gives the audience the witness account of a man who is standing up, ready to fight and free from self-pity: a ‘Refugee’ citizen according to his residency permit, Dominique Bela invites us to reach out to the world around us, at national borders, but also at our own frontiers.
