Michael De Cock / KVS

- Duur: 1h30
- Location : cultuurcentrum, Hasselt
Catalan artist Carme Portaceli and Belgian Michael De Cock narrate the story of Madame Bovary. Emma feels suffocated by her husband, a provincial doctor, so she goes in search of something else (attention, lovers, emotion) to fill the crushing void that is her life. By talking about the undying desire to be loved, the patriarchy, impossible love, adultery, life and death, Gustave Flaubert invented the modern novel and amazed literary circles in France in 1856.
