End of Life – A virtual ruinscape

In End of Life, theatre takes on the form of a role-playing game. Here, the audience member takes on the role of an employee working for the fictional multinational IRL, using a virtual reality headset. Their mission? To decide which virtual worlds should be preserved and which should be permanently erased.

With End of Life, we explore these ancient worlds, where traces of their human creators can still be seen. From these slowly decaying parallel digital universes, a single question emerges: how will others remember us after our time on earth?

Exploring and connecting new generations in European theatre.

Supported by the European Commission, Prospero NEW is the first European platform dedicated to emerging talent in the theatre sector, bringing together 22 key players from the theatre world with the aim of supporting over 200 European artists through a programme of tours, co-productions, residencies and mentoring.

For the first time, the project’s two Belgian partners – the Théâtre de Liège and NTGent – are joining forces to present two weeks of joint programming, thereby affirming their shared commitment to the emerging European theatre scene.
