After the World
In a time when the world speculates about the much-anticipated nature of the “post-world,” the IMPACT festival takes a unique approach by choosing “After the World” as its subtitle. Looking at history in reverse and placing us “after the world” goes beyond mere transition or rupture with the past. It’s the perspective of deep reinvention, an ongoing exploration of possible futures. This new edition of the festival (the 6th) opens towards South Korea, highlighting its dynamic artistic scene in collaboration with the Seoul Performing Arts Festival (SPAF). IMPACT invites an unprecedented exploration of new forms, identities, and geographies through dance, theater, performance, visual and digital arts, creating a space for hybridizations where boundaries between disciplines and artistic practices become permeable. Over 15 days, with a bold program of performances, encounters, and exhibitions, we invite audiences to rediscover the sense of wonder, to be carried away by the vibrations of sensitive worlds, and to imagine together the “world after” as a continuous journey into the unknown, as the ever-shifting destination of our deepest desires.
